At Geranium Homes we take great pride in giving back to the many neighbourhoods and communities in which we build.

COBY BUILDS A HOUSE
For the past 5+ years Geranium Homes has used Coby Builds a House as a highly successful charitable tool to raise funds for various sponsorships and organizations. Financial contributions have helped to support a variety of groups and charities. If you have a group or organization that you feel would benefit from this wonderful initiative and would like more information, please click here.

MAYOR’S ANNUAL FOOD DRIVE
For the 5th year in a row the Whitchurch-Stouffville Food Bank was the recipient of a major September food drive led by Geranium Homes. Homeowners, staff, suppliers, consultants and trades contributed much needed food items, while Geranium presented a cheque for$10,630 — which included $50 per home sold at Cardinal Point! Over 5 years, the total money raised totals more than $32,000.00 plus the re-stocking of the food bank shelves!

2014 SOCHI OLYMPIC RED MITTEN CAMPAIGN
In celebration of this year’s Winter Olympics, Geranium Homes and PACE Credit Union purchased 300 pairs of Olympic Red Mittens and donated them to local women’s shelters. In total, 150 pairs were delivered to Blue Door Shelters, 100 pairs to Yellow Brick House and 50 pairs to Sandgate Women’s Shelter. Through this purchase, Canada’s Olympic Athletes’ Own The Podium program received a total contribution of $1,000 by Geranium Homes.

MARKHAM AT THE MOVIES
Presented to you by the Markham Arts Council, and proudly supported by Geranium Homes, Markham at the Movies is a partner of Film Circuit, a division of the Toronto International Film Festival group. Run by volunteers and film enthusiasts, with a goal of bringing award-winning Canadian and international films to our own doorstep, screenings are held six times a season at the Flato Markham Theatre.

NEIGHBOURHOODS IN BLOOM
This year Geranium Homes planted more seeds of community spirit as our “Neighbourhoods in Bloom” blossomed into highly successful events at three Geranium communities. Geared toward helping new homeowners get a start on their gardens and get to know each other, this rain or shine event brought neighbours together. A wonderful afternoon having fun chatting and choosing from a terrific assortment of evergreens, flowering shrubs, perennials and colourful mums was had by all!

STARLIGHT CINEMA
The Lebovic Centre for the Arts at Nineteen on the Park in Stouffville plays host to Starlight Cinema. Part of the Toronto International Film Festival Film Circuit, Starlight Cinema is proudly sponsored by Geranium Homes. For more info and trailers of upcoming movies, visit nineteenonthepark.ca

COMMUNITY BBQ’S IN THE PARK
Now in its 5th successful year at Cardinal Point, Geranium Homes’ BBQ in the Park was bigger and better than ever before. More than 400 home owners, their families and friends, enjoyed a delicious lunch and live entertainment. This year, community BBQ’s were also held for home owners at The Courts of South Rouge in Pickering and The Verandas in Port Hope

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
It was with great pride that Geranium Homes presented a cheque for $5,500 to support Habitat for Humanity, Northumberland. The donation kicked-off Habitat’s campaign to build a 7th home in Port Hope, and the 44th in Northumberland County. The amount represents Geranium’s commitment to donate $100 per home sold in The Verandas.

WOODSTOCK LITTLE THEATRE
Woodstock’s thriving arts community received a boost in spring when Geranium became the 2012/13 Season Corporate Sponsor of Theatre Woodstock and CAST. “Sponsors help our non-profit organization bring high quality award-winning live theatre to our community. We welcome Geranium Homes back to our theatre family for the 13/14 season,” said Laurie Markham, General Manager.

COPPER COOPER HELPS HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
When Geranium Homes announced its support for Habitat for Humanity Oxford, Middlesex, Elgin they connected with an organization that is always thinking of new ways to raise funds to build homes for low-income families. With a goal of collecting ten million pennies, Habitat’s Copper Cooper traveled the region. Geranium supported the cause with collected pennies from staff and trades, and also donated proceeds from Coby Builds A House donations made through the Sally Creek Sales centre.
